Welcome to Sheffield Only

Sheffield is a great place to visit. One of the largest cities in England, it is full of life and offers a unique blend of modern day and historical buildings. It is also nestled in some of the most attractive countryside in Britain so that as some visitors and locals delight in the attractions of the city, others enjoy the nearby foothills of the Peak District National Park.

Recent renovations to the city centre have further improved on the Sheffield experience - the completion of the Peace Gardens, Millennium Galleries and Winter Garden are all impressive and draw many thousands of visitors a year. But perhaps one of Sheffield's greatest assets is its people. Warm, hospitable and very traditional Sheffield lads and lasses will welcome you with open arms! Playing host to two Universities and two top class football clubs is also something Sheffield is justifiably proud of - and the Meadowhall shopping centre, which is one of the largest and arguably the best out-of-town shopping centres in the UK.
